About CCOTS Choir

The Community Choir of Oxhill, Tysoe and Shenington was formed in 2022 by Anna Harcourt our talented conductor and inspirational leader. The choir has gone from strength to strength and now has over thirty members and has held several concerts, provided entertainment at local charity fairs and supported local church services.

We sing a range of music including contemporary songs, songs from musicals, folk songs and some light modern classics.  We love to support local community events and we are available to sing in North Oxfordshire and South Warwickshire for a small fee.

CCOTS currently rehearses at Oxhill Village Hall, Main St, Oxhill, CV35 0QU from 7.45pm until 9.15pm on Wednesday’s during school term time. There are no auditions and a sense of humour and a willingness to learn some fun and beautiful music are the only requirements. We have singers who have never sung in a choir before along with more experienced singers. We sing in four parts: soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Anna will always guide you if you are unsure which voice part you are. All music is provided and we sing from the music so there is no need to learn the words of each song. The first two rehearsals are free. Once you have had your free rehearsals we charge fees which can be paid by either half term or full term. The fees have been kept low as the community ethos is important to us.

At the end of the summer and winter terms we have a meal together in one of the local pubs with a little bit of singing to round the evening off.

Our current repetoire includes:
